We collect nothing.

The app

honmay’s App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected, and that is the whole story. There is no account, no sign-in and no server of ours that the app talks to.

• Your scripts, takes, transcripts and exports stay on your Mac, in the folders you choose (by default ~/Movies/Honmay). We never receive them.
• Speech is transcribed on your Mac by Apple’s on-device speech engine. macOS may download the speech model for your language from Apple the first time; that is between your Mac and Apple.
• No analytics, tracking or advertising code is in the app, and no third-party code at all: it is built on Apple’s frameworks only.
• Purchases go through the Mac App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app which plan you have; we don’t see your card or your Apple Account details.
• Crash reports reach us only if you chose to share analytics with app developers in macOS settings. That is Apple’s setting, and Apple anonymises those reports.
• Camera and microphone are used only while you record in honmay, and macOS asks you first.

This website

honmay.app sets no cookies and has no forms. It is hosted on Vercel, whose servers keep standard request logs, and it counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and aggregate: it doesn’t identify you or follow you across sites. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.
