Help with honmay
A person reads every message. Include your Mac model, your macOS version and the honmay version (Honmay › About Honmay).

Requirements
- macOS 26 or later.
- A camera and a microphone: built in, external, or your iPhone through Continuity Camera.
- A language Apple’s on-device speech engine supports (45 locales on macOS 26, including English, Spanish, French and German).
The prompter doesn’t follow my voice
- Check that the project’s language (the EN menu in the Script header) is the language you’re speaking.
- Check that honmay is allowed to use the microphone: System Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone.
- Pick the right microphone in the Studio’s bottom bar; it shows the device’s real name.
I can’t see my camera
- Allow it in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera.
- For your iPhone, keep it near the Mac, signed in to the same Apple Account, with Continuity Camera on.
Buying, restoring and refunds
- Buy Pro in the app: Honmay › Upgrade to Honmay Pro….
- On another Mac, open the same window and choose Restore Purchases.
- Manage or cancel Pro Yearly in the App Store under your account’s Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Known limits
- No iPhone app yet, no mirrored prompter text for beam-splitter rigs, and no FCPXML project export yet.
- honmay edits takes it recorded itself; it doesn’t import other footage.
